Founded in 1956 in the well known, traditional Galata trading district of Istanbul, as a small enterprise, our company enlarged isn’t volume and the number of items traded, over time and changed it’s name to Istanbul Metal A.S. in 1980.

To be able to handle the expanded volume, increased number of staff and multiplied warehousing needs, the company moved to the Bayrampasa area, in the industrial zone of Istanbul. At the same time, a large warehouse facility of 5000 sq.m. size has been built in the Kirac – Hadimkoy area, close to the main transit highway, connecting Turkey to Europe. To cope with the location change industry, in 2013 we moved our headquarter offices and warehouse to İkitelli-Basaksehir area, where we have expanded office and warehouse facilities under one roof.
